The dynamic weekend programme for 16-35 year olds includes music, drama, prayer, talks, workshops, reconciliation and healing service, games and chill time. AFRICAN LINK YOUTH MASS Armagh Diocesan Youth Commission invites "young people of all ages" to its special African Youth Mass with Fr. Frank Diamond on Sunday 13th June 2010 at 6.00 pm in Holy Family Church, Coalisland. This Mass is to celebrate the recent establishing of links between the ADYC and Fr. Frank's Missionary work in Tanzania.

Mayor of Drogheda Michael O’Dowd and Bishop Gerard Clifford launched a new St Oliver Plunkett website on Wednesday last in Millmount Museum in Drogheda.The website was the work of Red Mist Productions on behalf of Drogheda Borough Council in conjunction with St Peter’s Parish. NEW DIOCESAN AIM ADOPTED
The new diocesan aim of the Archdiocese of Armagh was adopted at a packed diocesan celebration in St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh on Tuesday 8 June 2010. People from across the diocese attended representing each of the new pastoral areas in the diocese. Marie Flynn from Dundalk, speaking after the ceremony said: "The atmosphere was very joyful. It was wonderful to see so many people who were willing to give of their time and energy to their parishes and dioceses."

NEW DIOCESAN PASTORAL COUNCIL CONSTITUTION PROMULGATED
The new Diocesan Pastoral Council Constitution was promulgated by Cardinal Brady at a colourful and joyful celebration in St Patrick's Cathedral, Armagh on Tuesday 8 June 2010. The new Council will hold its first meeting on Saturday 9 October. New to the Constitution are the eight pastoral Commissions which will develop pastoral initiatives in the areas of care for priests, Christian vocation, faith formation and training, justice peace and development, liturgy, mission and ecumenism, prayer and spirituality, youth.

The blacks saw it as the beginning of a new era of change that would bring freedom and prosperity to them amongst other things. The whites saw it as the beginning of the end; the end of power, the end of control and the beginning of the destruction of South Africa. |

The Parish of St Peter's, Drogheda in conjunction with the Armagh Diocesan Youth Commission and the Knights of St. Columbanus are holding a special celebration day in Drogheda on Sunday 4 July 2010 to commemorate the 90th Anniversary. In order to encourage more young people to this event, special emphasis has been placed on involvement of the young people of the Diocese in this years activities.
